Ord. #2051 — May 19, 2004 Page 1 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0-2004- / r% AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 12, "LICENSE AND BUSINESS REGULATIONS", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, BY AMENDING ARTICLE II, "OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES", BY AMENDING SECTION 12-39, "AMOUNT OF FEE" TO CONFORM WITH CHAPTER 205, FLORIDA STATUTES; MODIFYING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEES AND CLASSIFICATIONS AND ESTABLISHING EQUITY BETWEEN LICENSE FEES AND ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS AND FEES (CASE NO. 14-Z-04); PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac desires to conform its occupational license Ordinance with Chapter 205, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, wishes to establish equity between the occupational license fees within the City of Tamarac business community; and WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac has deemed it to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to amend Chapter 12, "License and Business Regulations", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Tamarac, Florida, by amending Article II, "Occupational Licenses", by amending Section 12-39, "Amount of Fee" to conform with Chapter 205, Florida Statutes; modifying occupational license fees and classifications and establishing equity between license fees and establishing additional license classifications and fees. Ord. #2051 — May 19, 2004 Page 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Ordinance upon adoption hereof. SECTION 2: Chapter 12, Article II, "Occupational Licenses", Section 12-39, "Amount of Fee"; is hereby amended as follows: Sec. 12-39. Amount of fee.
