PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Any member of the public may speak to any issue that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation. When an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has been properly noticed for that matter. ANNOUNCEMENT OF TIME ALLOCATIONS -MOTIONS TO TABLE The Chair at this time will announce those items that have been given a specific time to be heard, and will entertain motions from the Commission members to table those items that require research. The Commission may agendize by majority consent matters of an urgent nature which have come to the Commission's attention after publication. 6. TR12931 - Execution of Agreement with SAK Construction - FY17 Wastewater Cured -In -Place Pipe Lining Inflow & Infiltration Project UT17D A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding a contract to SAK Construction, LLC, utilizing pricing from an agreement obtained through a formal competitive process by City of Mobile Alabama, Mobile Area Water and Sewer System, Contract Number 100316.22 for the FY17 Wastewater Cured -In -Place Pipe Lining Inflow and Infiltration Project; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute a Purchase Order Agreement with SAK Construction, LLC for a project cost of $2,077,398.00, with a contingency of 5% or $103,869.90 for an amount not to exceed $2,181,267.90; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to administer the contract; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. TR 12946 - Award Bid No. 17-12B for Refurbishing City Hall Cooling Towers A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding Bid No. 17-12B to and approving an agreement with A-1 Paradise Plumbing, Inc. d/b/a Paradise Service Technologies for refurbishing the two cooling towers at City Hall located at 7525 N.W. 88th Avenue for a contract amount of $63,280.00 and a contingency in an amount of $6,328.00, will be added to the project for a total project budget of $69,608.00; authorizing an expenditure from the appropriate accounts; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. TR12938 - Reciprocal Use Agreement between the City and the School Board of Broward County A Resolution of the City of Tamarac, Florida, authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute a Reciprocal Use Agreement between the City of Tamarac and the School Board of Broward County, Florida, to provide reciprocal use of City and School Board facilities for a term of five (5) years, commencing on June 3, 2017 and expiring on June 2, 2022; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing an effective date. e. TR12945 Grant Award Amendment: Broward Redevelopment Program — Tamarac Village A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida amending the Broward Redevelopment Grant Program grant agreement between Broward County and the City of Tamarac through the Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department for the Tamarac Village Development Project; authorizing and providing for the appropriate city officials to execute necessary documents required to amend this agreement; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. TR12948 - Server Replacement A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida approving the acquisition of Cisco servers from Prosys Information Systems; authorizing an expenditure for an amount not to exceed $100,129.66; authorizing budget amendments for proper accounting purposes; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
