Investment Report - December 2015 Investment Report - December 2015 5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Any member of the public may speak to any issue that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation. When an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has been properly noticed for that matter. ANNOUNCEMENT OF TIME ALLOCATIONS -MOTIONS TO TABLE The Chair at this time will announce those items that have been given a specific time to be heard, and will entertain motions from the Commission members to table those items that require research. The Commission may agendize by majority consent matters of an urgent nature which have come to the Commission's attention after publication. 6. TR12731 - Central Parc South: Model Sales A Resolution of the City of Tamarac, Florida, granting a Model Sales permit for the Central Parc South residential development, located on the south side of Commercial Boulevard and west of the Florida Turnpike for a period of six (6) months; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. Commission District(s): District 1 C. TR12750 - Award of Bid No. 16-03B for the Stormwater Master Pump Station Receiving Ponds Erosion Protection Project A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding Bid No. 16-03B to and approving an Agreement with Landshore Enterprises, LLC for the construction of Stormwater Master Pump Station Receiving Ponds Erosion Protection Project, in accordance with Bid No. 16- 03B for a contract amount of $799,209.26; a contingency in an amount of $119,881.39 will be added to the project account, for a total project budget of $919,090.65; authorizing an appropriation of $272,340.65; authorizing an expenditure from the appropriate accounts; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. d. TR12753 - A Resolution Appointing One (1) Resident Trustee to the Firefighters Pension Board for a four-year term A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, Appointing one (1) Resident Trustee to the Firefighters Pension Board to serve a four-year term ending February 25, 2020; Providing for Conflicts, Providing for Severability; and Providing an effective Date. e. TR 12754 - Calling for the Release of Robert Levinson A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, recognizing the plight of Robert Levinson and demanding his swift and safe return to his family; directing the City Clerk to transmit a copy of this resolution to the appropriate Federal and State Legislative members, the Governor of the State of Florida, the President of the United States and to the City of Coral Springs; providing for conflicts; providing for severability and providing for an effective date. 7. T02337 - Redistricting Ordinance An Ordinance of the City of Tamarac, Florida, providing for the re-creation and re-establishment of the geographic boundaries for four (4) Election Districts in the City of Tamarac in accordance with Section 6.03 of the City Charter; providing for the implementation of revised Election Districts to be effective for the elections to be held in the City of Tamarac, Florida, commencing at the General Municipal Election in November, 2016, and thereafter; providing a form of request to the Supervisor of Elections of Broward County, Florida, to implement the revised plan established pursuant to this Re -districting Ordinance and to create functional districts consistent with the identification of geographic boundaries for Election Districts; providing for the attachment of Election District Maps, Charts and street address descriptions, which are attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference; providing for authorization and direction to the City Manager to implement the terms, conditions and provisions of this Ordinance to be effective for the next ensuing General Municipal Election of November 2016; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
