TR12883 - Declaring the Results of the November 8, 2016 General Election
A Resolution of the City commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, declaring the
results of the November 8, 2016 General Election for City Commission District 1 and
City Commission District 3; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and
providing for an effective date.
2. TR12884 - Declaring the Results for the November 8, 2016 Referendum Questions
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, declaring the
results of the Referendum Election Voting at the November 8, 2016 Election on
amendments to the City Charter: Ordinance No. 0-2016-06 Article XI I, deleting Section
12.06 entitled "Residential Growth Control" to eliminate redundancy since the City's
Residential Growth Control Regulation is otherwise contemplated by the City's
Comprehensive Plan; Ordinance No. 0-2016-07 amending Article VI, Section 6.03
entitled "Redistricting" requiring the engagement of a 4-year university to conduct a
redistricting analysis and provide for redistricting every 10 years following the Decennial
Census, or sooner if mandated by law; Ordinance No. 0-2016-08 Article X entitled "City
Clerk" amending Section 10.01 entitled "Appointment and Compensation" amending
section 10.03 entitled "Suspension or Removal" to provide for consistency between the
City Clerk position and the position of other City Department Heads; Ordinance No. 0-
2016-09 Article V entitled "City Manager" and in particular amending Section 5.04
entitled "Powers and Duties of the City Manager" deleting the reference to the City's
Building Official to provide for consistency with the Building Official position and the
position of other City Department Heads; providing for conflicts; providing for
severability; and providing for an effective date.

Oath of Office administered by County Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness to Marlon
Bolton City Commission Member District 1, and presentation of Certificate of Election

Oath of Office administered by County Commissioner Nan Rich to Julie Fishman City
Commission Member District 3, and presentation of Certificate of Election

The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. In the event this
agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting.
