4. Item No. 8 (a) on Ordinances - First Reading. FIREFIGHTER PENSION PLAN AMENDMENT:
(TO2264) Motion to adopt an Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac Florida; on first
reading amending Chapter 16, Pensions and Retirement, Article VI, Firefighter Pension Plan, amending
the definition of Actuarial Equivalence or Actuarially Equivalent; providing for a savings clause; providing for
severability; providing for codification and providing for an effective date. - Human Resources Director

5. Item No. 8 (b) on Ordinances - First Reading. SUNRISE NATURAL GAS AGREEMENT: (TO2265) Motion
to adopt an Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, on first reading authorizing
the appropriate City officials to execute a franchise agreement between the City of Tamarac and the City of
Sunrise for the non-exclusive right to provide natural gas services to the City of Tamarac; providing for
conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. - Financial Services Director Mark

6. DISCUSSION REGARDING CALL TO ACTION FOR ONE MILLION VOLUNTEER HOURS: Discussion
Regarding Call to Action for One Million Volunteer Hours - Mayor Beth Talabisco
The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. In the event this
agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting.
Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City
Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he may need to ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the
appeal is based.
