5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public moy speak to any issue
that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited to three
minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be' a thirty (30) minute
aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged tp sign up in advance
with the City Clerk prior to their participation.
When an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be
heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has been properly noticed for that matter.

IMPROVEMENTS: (TR11488) Accepting a Legislative Project G ant in the amount of
$300,000 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Water
Facilities Funding; authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute a Project
Agreement between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the City of
Tamarac for funding in the amount of $300,000 towards improving the City's stormwater
system; authorizing a cash match of $300,000 from the City's stormwater fund.

d. PURCHASE OF NEW SYSTEMS TO REPLACE OBSOL TE SERVERS AND
PERSONAL COMPUTERS: (TR11514) Purchasing new corrhputer equipment to
replace obsolete servers, personal computers and peripherals, approving the
disposition of the replaced computer equipment; utilizing GSA Schedule 70, U.S.
Communities Contract #250-001-07-ACS, and State of Florida Contract #250-040-08-1,
authorizing an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $95,000,
e. TRAFFIC MAGISTRATE CITATION PROGRAM — FUNDING- (TR11511) Urging
the Legislature of the State of Florida to fully fund and sustain Broward County's Traffic
Magistrate Citation Program; in the absence of full funding by the Legislature, urging the
Board of County Commissioners of Broward County, the Broward County Clerk of the
Courts, the Broward Sheriff's Office, the Police Chief's Association, all municipalities in
Broward County and any other interested entity to collaborate to develop a mechanism
to provide sufficient funding in order to continue with the Broward County Traffic
Magistrate Citation Program; urging the Board of County Commissioners of Broward
County and all municipalities in Broward County to consider imposing a surcharge on all
traffic tickets issued within the county to assist with the full funding of the Traffic
Magistrate Program; urging the above -referenced entities to join in this request for full
funding of the Broward County Traffic Magistrate Citation Program; directing the City
Clerk to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Governor of the, State of Florida, the
Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, the President of the Florida Senate,
all members of the State Legislature, the Board of County Commissioners of Broward
County, the Broward County Clerk of the Courts, the Broward Sheriff's Office, the Police
Chief's Association, and all municipalities located within Broward County.

7. MERRILL GARDENS II PLAT - DEVELOPMENT QRDER AND PLAT
APPROVAL: (TR11517) Motion to approve Resolution issuing Development Order No.
304.4 and granting Plat approval of a Plat for the "Merrill GardensII Plat", requested by
Edward P. Ploski, of Craven, Thompson and Associates Designated Agent for the
property owner Merrill Gardens, LLC., for the property located at 7650 North University
Drive; (Case No. 2-P-08); providing for conditions of approval; providing for execution of
said plat.
8. MAIN STREET SHOPPES - REVISED DEVELOPME
NEW
DEVELOPMENT SITE PLAN APPROVAL: (TR11516) Motion to approve Resolution
issuing Revised Development Order No. 337.2 and granting New Development Site
Plan approval for the Main Street Shoppes project to allow, the construction of
approximately 77,358 square feet of retail shops, offices and restaurants along with
associated ground parking, landscaping and infrastructure improvements, for the
property located at 9200-9300 West Commercial Boulevard; (Case No. 2-SP-08);
providing for conditions of approval.

The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come
before it. In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available
to the public at the City Commission meeting.
