HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-10-11 - City Commission Special Meeting Agenda7525 Northwest 88 Avenue Tamarac, FL 33321-2401 NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING CITY COMMISSION OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA October 5, 2006 There will be a Special Meeting of the City Commission at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, in Conference Room 105 at Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, FL. The purpose of this meeting is that the City Attorney desires advice concerning litigation regarding Southern Coatings v. City of Tamarac, Florida (Case No. 4D04-3066). CITY OF TAMARAC NOTICE OF ATTORNEY -CLIENT SESSION Pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.011(8)(2005), there will be an attorney -client session concerning Southern Coatings v. City of Tamarac, Florida (Case No. 4D04-3066), at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, attended by Mayor Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco, Vice Mayor Edward C. Portner, Commissioner Patte Atkins -Grad, Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof, Commissioner Harry Dressler, City Attorney Samuel S. Goren and/or Assistant City Attorney Mike Cirullo, Jeff Hochman, Esq. representing Johnson, Anselmo, et al., Special Counsel, and City Manager Jeffrey L. Miller. The special meeting of the City Commission will be recessed for this session. These officials shall meet in private for approximately one-half hour. At the conclusion of the attorney -client session, the special City Commission meeting will be reconvened. In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting. Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
