1. PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS:
a. Presentation by Mayor Schreiber of a proclamation proclaiming May 2005
as Older Americans Month.
b. Presentation by Mayor Schreiber of a proclamation proclaiming the week
of May 15-21, 2005 as Emergency Medical Services Week.
C. Presentation by Mayor Schreiber of a proclamation proclaiming May 18,
2005 as Emergency Medical Services For Children (EMSC) Day.
d. Presentation by Mayor Schreiber of a Proclamation proclaiming May 2005
as Civility Month.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public may speak to any issue
that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited
to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty (30)
minute aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged to sign up
in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation.
When an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only
be heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has been properly noticed for that
matter.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF TIME ALLOCATIONS -MOTIONS TO TABLE - The Chair at this
time will announce those items that have been given a specific time to be heard, and
will entertain motions from the Commission members to table those items that require
research. The Commission may agendize by majority consent matters of an urgent
nature that have come to the Commission's attention after publication.
CONSENT AGENDA
6. Motion to adopt items 6(a) through 6(f).
Items listed under Consent Agenda are viewed to be routine and the
recommendation will be enacted by ONE MOTION in the form listed below. If
discussion is desired, then, in accordance with Resolution 2003-15, Sec. 4.5, the
item(s) will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered
separately.
a. APPROVE the minutes of the April 27, 2005 Regular City Commission meeting.
b. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING — HOME FUNDING PROGRAM
ADMINISTRATION: (TR10682) Approving the Memorandum of Understanding
("MOU") between Broward County and the City of Tamarac for the administration
of the Home Funding Program for FY2003/2004 through FY2005/2006 in the
approximate amount of one hundred forty six thousand nine hundred and sixty
dollars ($146,960.00) to assist a minimum of seven (7) recipients with housing
rehabilitation (Case No. 5-MI-05).
C. FY04 WATER AND WASTEWATER SYSTEMS ANNUAL REPORT:
(TR10698) Receiving the Fiscal Year 2004 City of Tamarac Water and
Wastewater Systems Annual Report prepared by the City's Consulting
Engineers, Mathews Consulting, Inc., on behalf of the City of Tamarac Utilities
Department as required by Bond Covenants for Continuing Disclosure for the
Taxable Water and Sewer Utility Revenue Refunding Bonds Series 1996 and
2004 Series Capital Improvement Bonds.

d. AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT — LOCAL OPTION GAS TAX
ORDINANCE: (TR10700) Executing the 2005 Amendment to Interlocal
Agreement between Broward County and City of Tamarac providing for division
and distribution of the proceeds of the local option gas tax imposed by the
Broward County local option gas tax ordinance.
e. AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT -- FIFTH CENT ADDITIONAL
LOCAL OPTION GAS TAX ON MOTOR FUEL FOR TRANSIT: (TR10701)
Executing the 2005 Amendment to Interlocal Agreement between Broward
County and City of Tamarac providing for division and distribution of the
proceeds from the Broward County fifth cent additional local option gas tax on
motor fuel for transit.
AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT — ADDITIONAL LOCAL
OPTION GAS TAX ON MOTOR FUEL ORDINANCE: (TR10702) Executing the
2005 Amendment to Interlocal Agreement between Broward County.and City of
Tamarac providing for division and distribution of the proceeds from the Broward
County additional local option gas tax on motor fuel ordinance.

The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come
before it. In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available
to the public at the City Commission meeting.
