RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTIONS/DISCUSSIONS
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council on
Monday, February 11, 1991 at 9:00 A.M. in Conference Room #1
of City Hall, 7525 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
The following items will be considered:
1. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION regarding a remedial plan
for the Public Works site located at the northeast
corner of Commercial Boulevard and NW 88 Avenue (Pine
Island Road).
FINAL ACTION:
Discussion was held and action regarding this will be
taken at a Special Council meeting next week.
2. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION regarding a fleet expend-
iture.
FINAL
ACTION:
Discussion was held regarding the extreme costs of
maintaining vehicles in need of replacement and the
consideration of purchasing new vehicles with excess
funds from the Fleet Services Fund. Action on this item
was held for a Special Council meeting next week.
3.
MOTION TO ADOPT Tema. Ord. #1522 on first reading
amending the Code of the City of Tamarac, Chapter 2,
Administration, Division 3, Consumer Affairs Committee,
Section 2-106 to increase the membership from seven (7)
members to nine (9) members and two (2) alternate
members.
FINAL
ACTION:
APPROVED on first reading. The City Attorney will
review the legalities of increasing the membership of
this Committee.
4.
MOTION TO ADOPT Temp. Reso. #5998 appointing members to
the Board of Adjustment.
FINAL
ACTION:
TABLED.
The
City Council may consider and act upon such other bus-
iness
as may come before it.
All meetings are open to the public.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public may speak to
any issue which is not agendized for public hearing at this
meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during
this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty
(30) aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are
encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to
their participation.
