August 30 through September 5, 1993 as "FIREFIGHTER APPRECIATION
WEEK".
FINAL ACTION•
Mayor Bender presented the proclamation to Fire Chief, Jim Budzinski,
and Fire Lieutenant, Peter Prior, and Muscular Dystrophy Association
Representative, Lisa Kunis.
3. PRESENTATION by Mayor Bender of a proclamation designating
September 9, 1993 as "THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN'S
NATIONAL DAY OF THE WORKING PARENT".
FINAL ACTION
Mayor Bender presented the proclamation to Shelly Greene, Vice
President, Public Relations -University Chapter -National Council of
Jewish Women.

positions on the following boards and committees:

appointments are made by Council.

issue which is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting.
Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at
public hearings. There will be a thirty (30) minute aggregate
time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged to sign up
in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation.

WOODMONT GREENS (WOODMONT TRACT 67), Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,
and waiver of the 150-foot distance requirement for issuance
of certificates of occupancy for a six --month period from
9/23/93 to 3/23/94 (located on the northeast corner of NW 88
Avenue and NW 75 Street).

improvements at the GREATER MIAMI FEDERAL (INTERCONTINENTAL

The 1993/94 Budget Public Hearings will be held:
Tuesday, September 7, 1993 at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 21, 1993 at 7:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers of Tamarac
City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
The City Council may consider and act upon such other business as may
come before it.
In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be
available to the public at the City Council meeting.
Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to
appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter
considered at such meeting or hearing, he may need to ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the
testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
The City of Tamarac complies with the provisions of the Americans With
Disability Act. If you are a disabled person requiring any
