NOTICE OF WORKSHOP MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Workshop Meeting of the City Council on Monday,
May 17, 1993, at 9:00 a.m., in Conference Room #1 at Tamarac City
Hall, 7525 N.W. 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
The purpose of this meeting is as follows:
1. DISCUSSION regarding Charter Board terms of office to
coordinate with Council's terms of office. (Section 8.01)
2. DISCUSSION regarding any Council member being able to
succeed himself more than once. (Section 4.02)
3. DISCUSSION regarding taking Council compensation out of the
Charter by Ordinance. (Section 4.04)
4. DISCUSSION regarding going back to At -Large elections.
(Section 6.04)
5. DISCUSSION regarding Council taking a four -consecutive week
vacation. (Section 4.06)
6. DISCUSSION regarding night meetings.
7. DISCUSSION regarding holding workshop meetings on Fridays.
8. DISCUSSION regarding Code Enforcement officer.
9. DISCUSSION regarding the Commercial Boulevard Beautification
Joint Project with the City of Sunrise.
**10, DISCIISSION regarding Ordinance 0-93-9, which amended Chapter
23 of the Code regarding requests for temporary holiday sales
from wayside stands. (July 4, Halloween and Christmas)
All meetings are open to the public.
In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will
be available to the public at the City Council meeting.
