SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council on Wednesday,
March 31, 1993, at 3:00 p.m., in Conference Room #1 at Tamarac
City Hall, 7525 N.W. 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
The purpose of this meeting is as follows:
1. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public may
speak to any issue which is on this meeting notice. Speakers
will be limited to three minutes during this item. There will
be a thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item,
and speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance with the
City Clerk prior to their participation.
2. approving a sign
waiver requested by St. Malachy's Church to permit a sign
which does not comply with the provisions of the Sign Code.
FINAL ACTION: RESOLUTION R-93-33-PASSED
APPROVED AS AMENDED for only the use of two types of lettering to
be utilized on the sign.
3. a. DISCUSSIQ,MM POSSIBLE ACTION regarding single-
family residential garbage service.
b. regarding the
parameters of negotiations.
3.a. APPROVED the rejection of all bids.
3.b. Agendized by Consent. Discussion was held regarding the
negotiation process and then TABLED to a Reconvened meeting
on Thursday, April 1, 1993 at 3:00 p.m.

4. authorizing the
Tamarac Athletic Federation to sell beer at the "Tournament
for Tommy on a portion of Tamarac Park, 7501 N. University
Drive, on Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2, 1993.

**5. MOTION TO_APPROyE a hold harmless agreement between the
City and property owner, Melvin Reinow, regarding the removal
of trees that pose a threat to Well #16.

All meetings are open to the public.
In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will
be available to the public at the City Council meeting.
