ANNOUNCEMENT OF TIME ALLOCATIONS -- MOTIONS TO TABLE - The Chair
at this time will announce those items which have been given a
specific time to be heard, and will entertain motions from Council
members to table those items which require research. Council may
agendize by majority consent matters of an urgent nature which
have come to Council's attention after publication.
INTRODUCTION
1. ANNOUNCEMENT by Mayor Bender of the March 8, 1994 Municipal
Election for the following seats:
Mayor (three-year term)
City Council District 2 (three-year term)
City Council District 4 (three-year term)
Charter Board District 2 (two-year term)
Charter Board District 4 (two-year term)
Charter Board At -Large (one-year term)
Candidate qualifying began at noon on Monday, January 3, 1994, and
ends at noon on Monday, January 17, 1994. For more information,
contact the City Clerk's office at 722-5900.

2. ANNOUNCEMENT by Mayor Bender of vacancies on the following
boards and committees:

3. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public may speak to
any issue which is not agendized for public hearing at this
meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during
this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty
(30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers
are encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk
prior to their participation.

10. MOTION TO ADOPT Temp. Ord. #1676 on first reading to amend
Sections 5-104 and 5-170 to the City Code pertaining to rust -
automatic override on sprinklers and plumbing water
conservation.

11. MOTION TO ADOPT Temp. Reso. #6624 authorizing the apropriate
City officials to execute an Agreement with the International
ssociation of Firefighters ((TAFF), Local 3080, for the
period 10/1/93 through 9/30/94.

drainage.
ZILAL ACTION:
Council APPROVED drainage and directed Interim City Manager to
fund the $177,400 required with $140,000 from Stormwater
Management Utility Fund (#410-411-541-640) and transfer to Other
Contractual Services (#410-411---541-340). Balance of $37,400 to be
loaned from General Fund Contingency Account (#001-872-588-975).
