NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday,
March 15, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at Tamarac
City Hall, 7525 N.W. 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
The Council will take action on the following items:
1. PUELIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public may speak
to any issue which is on this meeting notice. Speakers will
be limited to three minutes during this item. There will be a
thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and
speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance with the City
Clerk prior to their participation.
2. MOTION TO ADOPT TeMM, Reso,- #6657 declaring the results
of the election for Charter Board Members for Districts 2, 4
and At Large.
FINAL ACTION: RESOLUTION R-94-36-PASSED
APPROVED declaring the newly elected Charter Board members to be:
Sydney Smith District 2
Arthur Ormont District 4
Morton Burdman At -Large
3. MOTION TO ADOPT Temp. Reso_ #6655 declaring the results
of the election for Mayor and City Council Districts 2 and 4.
FINAL ACTION: RESOLUTION R-94-37-PASSED
APPROVED declaring the newly elected City Council members to be:
Norman Abramowitz Mayor
Larry Mishkin District 2
Sharon Machek District 4
4. PRESE,NTILTION OF CERTIFICA,TESOF ELECTION by the City
Clerk.

Presentations were made by Carol A. Evans, City Clerk.
5. OATH OF OFFICE administered to the new Mayor, City Council
members and Charter Board members.
FINAL ACTION:
Attorney Sam Goren administered the Oath of Office to Norman
Abramowitz.
Oaths of Office were administered to all others by Carol A. Evans,
City Clerk.

Irving Katz was appointed as Vice -Mayor by Council.

before it.
