NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COMMISSION OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Commission at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2002,
in Conference Room 105 at Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, FL. The
purpose of this meeting is that the City Attorney desires advice concerning litigation regarding
City of Tamarac, Florida et al. v. Florida Power and Light Company [Case No. 01-008883(03)].

NOTICE OF ATTORNEY -CLIENT SESSION
Pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.011(8)(2001), there will be an attorney -client session
concerning City of Tamarac, Florida, et al. v. Florida Power and Light Company [Case No. 01-
008883(03)], at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2002, attended by Mayor Joe
Schreiber, Vice Mayor Edward C. Portner, Commissioner Gertrude Mishkin, Commissioner
Marc L. Sultanof, Commissioner Karen L. Roberts, City Attorney Mitchell S. Kraft, Assistant City
Attorney Vanessa T. Steinerts, City Manager Jeffrey L. Miller, and Jamie Cole, Special Counsel.
The special meeting of the City Commission will be recessed for this session. These officials
shall meet in private for approximately one hour. At the conclusion of the attorney -client
session, the special City Commission meeting will be reconvened.
In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City
Commission meeting.
Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the
City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he may need to
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is based.
The City of Tamarac complies with the provisions of the Americans With Disabilities Act. If you are a
