Community Development Director Calloway introduced Planning & Zoning Manager Zickar and Assistant Planner Johnson to the Commission and acknowledged Joel Davidson and Larry Torn who are members of the Land Development Regulation Rewrite Advisory Committee and in attendance at the meeting. Community Development Director Calloway gave a presentation, a copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's Office along with a copy of the Assessment of the current land development regulations and annotated outline of a new land development code. Community Development Director Calloway, City Manager Cernech, City Attorney Goren and Planning & Zoning Manager Zickar responded to questions and concerns throughout the presentation. There were discussions on the Mixed Use District, the dissolution of the Woodlands Overlay District and improving property values which will attract people with higher per capita income, among other items. Mayor Dressler recessed the meeting at 11:09 a.m. and reconvened the meeting at 11:20 a.m. with all present as before.
