At the last meeting we spent a lot of time talking about the willingness of the Commission to delegate authority. The Commission directed staff to look at other options and that is what we are looking at. Maxine and Frank have been in touch with other cities and we have 5 or 6 examples of what other cities do. We are not ready to talk about that today but will in the near future. City Manager Cernech said we are here to get the Commission's input on other items. Staff heard loud and clear the issue of delegation of authority at the last meeting and there is no need to discuss it further today. When the Commission comes back for the second review we will have resolved that issue.
