CITY COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2006
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the Special Meeting of the City Commission
to order at 8:32 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, in Conference Room 105 at
Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, FL.
PRESENT: Mayor Joe Schreiber, Vice Mayor Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco,
Commissioner Edward C. Partner, Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof, and Commissioner
Karen L. Roberts.
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Miller, City Attorney Goren, Assistant City Attorney
Cirullo, Financial Services Director Chapman, and Court Reporter Victoria Aiello,
Official Reporting Service, LLC.
City Attorney Goren explained the purpose of this meeting is that the City Attorney
desires advice concerning litigation regarding Britt v. Tamarac, Broward County Circuit
Court Case No. 00-19741 (18), 41h District Court of Appeal No. 4D05-1709.
Mayor Schreiber recessed the special meeting at 8:33 a.m. to begin the Attorney -Client
Session. City Clerk Swenson and Financial Services Director Chapman left the room.
Mayor Schreiber reconvened the special meeting at 8:55 a.m. City Attorney Goren said
all the commissioners are present as before.
There being no further business to come before the Mayor and City Commission, Mayor
Schreiber adjourned the special meeting at 8:56 a.m.
