CITY COMMISSION
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the Special Meeting of the City Commission to order
at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2002, in Conference Room 105 at Tamarac City Hall, 7525
NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, FL.
PRESENT: Mayor Joe Schreiber, Vice Mayor Edward C. Portner, Commissioner Gertrude
Mishkin, Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof, and Commissioner Karen L. Roberts.
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Jeffrey L. Miller, City Attorney Mitchell S. Kraft, Assistant City
Attorney Vanessa T. Steinerts, and Jamie Cole, Special Counsel.
City Attorney Kraft explained that the purpose of this meeting is that the City Attorney desires
advice concerning litigation regarding City of Tamarac, Florida et al. v. Florida Power and Light
Company [Case No. 01-008883(03)].
In accordance with FS 286.011(8)(2001), Mayor Schreiber recessed the special meeting at
10:35 a.m.
Mayor Schreiber reconvened the Special Meeting of the City Commission at 11;,05 a.m. There
being no further business to come before the City Commission, Mayor Schreiber adjourned the
Special Meeting of the City Commission at 11:05 a.m.
