CITY COMMISSION BUDGET WORKSHOP
THURSDAY, JULY 17, 1997
CALL TO QRRDER: Mayor Schreiber called the budget workshop to order on Thursday,
July 17, 1997, at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac, City Hall, 7525
Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

Commissioner John E. McKaye
Commissioner Karen L. Roberts
Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof
ALSO PRESENT:
Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager
Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney
Stanley Hawthorne, Finance Director
Jim Budzinski, Fire Chief
Tim Hemstreet, Assistant to the City Manager
Bruce Abrahams, Budget Administrator
John Ralston, Management and Budget Officer
Nancy Wilson, Media Coordinator

City Manager Noe gave a budget overview and referenced Page 11 of Capital
Improvement Projects.
Fire Department
Fire Chief Jim Budzinski made a presentation.

Mayor Schreiber called for a recess at 3:30 p.m. and the budget workshop reconvened
at 3:40 p.m. with everyone present except Comm. McKaye.
Chief Budzinski continued his presentation and referred to Pages 150, 152, 156, 157,
158 and 159 of the proposed budget. There also was discussion regarding Pages 5, 6
10 and 7 of Capital Improvement Projects.

p.m.
