HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998-07-22 - City Commission Budget Workshop Meeting Minutes0 CITY OF TAMARAC CITY COMMISSION BUDGET WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, 1998 CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the budget workshop to order on Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at 2:30 p.m., in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida. PRESENT: Mayor Joseph Schreiber, Vice Mayor Larry Mishkin, Commissioner Karen L. Roberts, Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof and Commissioner John E. McKaye. ALSO PRESENT: Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager, Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney, Tim Hemstreet, Assistant to the City Manager and Carol Gold, City Clerk. Tape 1 BUILDING DEPARTMENT: Paul Gioia, Building Official gave a presentation on the proposed Building Department budget beginning at page 59 of the document. 2. MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT: MIS Director Levent Sucuolglu delivered the MIS Department's proposed budget beginning at page 159 and Capital Improvement requests. 3. PERSONNEL: Personnel Director Maria Swanson presented the proposed Personnel Department budget. 4. CITY CLERK: City Clerk Carol Gold presented the City Clerk's Departmental Budget beginning at page 137 and Capital Improvement request. Tape 2 5. PARKS AND RECREATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES: Parks and Recreation Director Kathleen Margoles presented both budgets and Capital Improvement requests. There being no further business, Mayor Schreiber adjourned the workshop at 4:55 p.m. Car old City Clerk
