CITY COMMISSION BUDGET WORKSHOP
TUESDAY, JULY 23, 1996
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Abramowitz called the Budget Workshop to order on
Tuesday, July 23, 1996, at 9:30 A.M. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall,
7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

Mayor Abramowitz requested a recess at 10:45 A.M. and the Budget Workshop
reconvened at 10.50 A.M. with everyone in attendance.

Messrs. Verma, Sparks and Greenspan presented various segments of the budget from
Pages 223 through 266.
Mayor Abramowitz requested a recess at 11.55 A.M. and the Budget Workshop
reconvened at 12:05 P.M. with everyone in attendance.
Social Services
Ms. Margoles discussed Pages 187 through 192 of her budget.
Mayor Abramowitz requested a recess at 12.40 P.M. and the Budget Workshop
reconvened at 1:15 P.M. with everyone in attendance.

Parks and Recreation
Mr. Doyle presented his budget on Pages 201 through 216.
Personnel Department
Ms. Swanson discussed her budget on Pages 217 through 222.
Mayor Abramowitz requested a recess at 2:55 P.M. and the Budget Workshop
reconvened at 3:10 P.M. with everyone in attendance.

Community Development
Messrs. Miller, King and Morris commented on the Community Development and Code
Enforcement budgets on Pages 86 through 102.
With no further discussion, Mayor Abramowitz Adjourned the Budget Workshop at 3,55
P.M.
