ABSENT: Vice Mayor Irving Katz Commissioner Sharon Machek Commissioner Larry Mishkin Commissioner Joseph Schreiber Mayor Norman Abramowitz ALSO PRESENT: Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney Carol A. Evans, CMG, City Clerk Phyllis Polikoff, Secretary PL DGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Vice Mayor Katz called for the Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Meditation. Tape 1 1. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Any member of the public may speak to any issue which is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item. There will be a thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and any speaker is encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation. There was no public participation. 2. PUBLIC HEARING For the purposes of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code, a public hearing will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. with respect to the construction and equipping of manufacturing plantS and related offices and support facilities to be located at N.W. 67th Street at Nob Hill Road, Tamarac, City Commission Special Meeting 3/13/95/PP Page 2 and the proposed issuance of two series of Industrial development Revenue Bonds to finance such project. PUBLIC HEARING HELD T. Dean Dickson, Attorney representing Akerman, Senterfitt & Eidson, referenced the first Public Hearing, Sam Butters, Tamarac Business Center, and said today's Public Hearing covered both Bonds. He stated that the City was not responsible for interest or principal on the Bonds. Vice Mayor Katz opened and closed the public hearing with no discussion. 3. T ADOPT TemI2.
