CITY COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY, MARCH 19, 1998
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the special meeting to order on Thursday,
March 19, 1998, at 10:00 a.m. in Commission Chambers of Tamarac City Hall, 7525
Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager
Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney
Patricia Marcurio, Assistant City Clerk, CMC
Phyllis Polikoff, Office Specialist
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Schreiber called for the Pledge of Allegiance.

1. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Any member of the public may speak to any
issue which is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers
will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings.
There will be a thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and
speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to
their participation.
There was no public participation.
2. MOTION TO ADOPT Temp. Reso. #8133 declaring the results of the election for
Charter Board member for District 2.
APPROVED RESOLUTION R-98-74
City Attorney Kraft read Temp. Reso. 48133 by title.
Comm. Sultanof MOVED APPROVAL, SECONDED by V/M Mishkin.

VOTE: ALL VOTED AYE
3. OATH OF OFFICE administered to the new Charter Board District 2 member
and presentation of a Certificate of Election by the City Manager.
City Manager Noe administered the oath of office to Harvey Kram, District 2 Charter
Board member, who ran unopposed.
Mayor Schreiber and V/M Mishkin congratulated Harvey Kram on his appointment and
noted that no other Charter Board members were present.
With no further discussion, Mayor Schreiber adjourned the special meeting at 10:10
a.m.
