CITY COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1995
CALL TO.ORDER: Mayor Abramowitz called the Special Meeting to Order onThursday,
September 7, 1995, at 2:00 P.M. in Conference Room #1, 7525 Northwest 88th
Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

Vice Mayor Irving Katz
Commissioner Sharon Machek
Commissioner Larry Mishkin
Commissioner Joseph Schreiber

1. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Any member of the public may speak to any issue
which is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be
limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be a
thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged
to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation.
There was no Public Participation.
2. aroward County Emergency Medical Services Proposal
Discussion was held pertaining to Broward County's late submittal of RFP No. 95-13 for
Emergency Medical Services. City Attorney Kraft referenced "General Terms and
Conditions" in the Request for Proposal (Attachment 1) and Page 412, Section
6.149(3)(d) of the Code (Attachment 2).

There was further discussion and Comm. Mishkin MOVED to OPEN RFP #95-13 from
Broward County, SECONDED by Comm. Schreiber.
VOTE: ALL VOTED AYE

With no other business, Mayor Abramowitz ADJOURNED the Meeting at 2:50 P.M.
