CITY OF TAMARAC
SPECIAL CITY COMMISSION MEETING
CITY HALL CHAMBERS
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 1999
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the Special meeting to order on
Friday, September 10,1999, at4.00 P.M. in the Commission Chambers of
Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, FL.
PRESENT: Mayor Joe Schreiber, Vice Mayor Larry Mishkin, Commissioner
Marc L. Sultanof, and Commissioner Karen L. Roberts.
ABSENT AND EXCUSED FOR CAUSE: Commissioner Edward C. Portner
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Designee Miller, Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney
and Carol Gold, City Clerk.
Mayor Schreiber called for the pledge to the flag.
City Clerk Gold administered the Oath of Office to City Manager Designee Miller.
Mayor Schreiber congratulated City Manager Miller, and Vice Mayor Mishkin,
Commissioner Sultanof, Commissioner Roberts, and Broward County
Commissioner Abramowitz all welcomed and congratulated City Manager Miller,
City Manager Miller thanked the Commissioners for their vote of confidence and
spoke of his plans for the City of Tamarac. Mayor Schreiber invited everyone to
participate in the reception following the Special meeting.
There being no further business, Mayor Schreiber adjourned the Special meeting
at 4:25 p.m.
