CITY OF TAMARAC
CITY COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY, OCTOBER 14, 1996
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Abramowitz called the Special Meeting to order on Monday,
October 14, 1996, at 9:30 A.M. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall, 7525
Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
PRESENT:
Mayor Norman Abramowitz
Vice Mayor Larry Mishkin
Commissioner Bruce Hoffman
Commissioner John E. McKaye
ABSENT AND EXCUSED:
Commissioner Joseph Schreiber
ALSO PRESENT:
Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager
Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney
Phyllis Polikoff, Office Specialist
City Attorney Kraft advised that he needed direction regarding the Attorney -Client
Session regarding Berkowitz vs. City of Tamarac, and the Special Meeting would
commence afterward immediately followed by a Workshop. He advised that Mayor
Abramowitz and Commissioners, he, City Manager Noe and Attorney Michael Burke
would attend the Attorney -Client Session.
Mayor Abramowitz recessed the Special Meeting at 9.35 A.M. and the Special Meeting
reconvened at 11.35 A.M. with everyone in attendance as noted previously.
With no further discussion, Mayor Abramowitz adjourned the Special Meeting at 11:36
