CITY COMMISSION WORKSHOP MEETING
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1995
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Abramowitz called the meeting to order on Monday,
February 6, 1995, at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room #1 at Tamarac City Hall, 7525
Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

1. WASTE MANAGEMENT
Discussion was held regarding litigation, mitigation and waste haulers. Mayor
Abramowitz suggested scheduling a Closed Door meeting after the regular City
Commission meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 1995.
2. LATE FEES - WATER
Discussion was held and Mayor Abramowitz requested calling other cities to ascertain
their policy of late fees. He said late fees should be incurred after 30 days and water
should be shut off after 45 days.
3. BLASTING

Mayor Abramowitz requested City Attorney Kraft to prepare an Ordinance eliminating
the present Ordinance and contact Broward County to determine their position if the
City's Ordinance was eliminated.

Mayor Abramowitz requested an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST with regard to
eliminating the present Ordinance:
VOTE:
ALL VOTED AYE
With no further discussion, Mayor Abramowitz ADJOURNED the WORKSHOP at 11:00

NOTICE OF WORKSHOP MEETING
CITY COMMISSION OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Workshop Meeting of the City Commission on Monday, February 6,
1995, at 9:30 a.m., in the Conference Room #1 at Tamarac City Hall, 7525 N.W. 88th
Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
Discussion will be held regarding the following:
1. Waste Management
2. Late Fees — Water
3. Blasting
This meeting is open to the public. In the event this agenda must be revised, such
revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting.
