CITY COMMISSION WORKSHOP
MONDAY, JUNE 26, 1995
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Abramowitz called the Workshop to order on Monday, June
26, 1995, at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest
88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

3. Charter Issues
Mayor Abramowitz said this item would be removed until further information was
received from Broward County Commissioner John Hart.
2. Temp. Reso. #7025 regarding Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) agreement for law
enforcement services for a five year period. (Tabled on 5/24/95)
Joe Gerwins, Director of Regional Services, discussed the agreement with regard to the
underground gas tank and the Youth Counselor.
4. Road Resurfacing - Estimated costs to pave all City streets.
Raj Verma, Director of Public Works, discussed his June 23, 1995 memo concerning
the Street Improvement Program and its related costs for the seven-year plan.
Discussion was held pertaining to financing sources.

1. City Manager's Report on Seismologist
City Manager Noe referred to his June 23, 1995 letter to Vibration Energy Services with
regard to blasting on Land Section 7 (Tamarac Commerce Park) and consulting
services to the City. He also distributed a Blasting Activities Report for the period of
June 16 through June 23, 1995, from Jeffrey Miller, Director of Community
Development.
With no further discussion, Mayor Abramowitz ADJOURNED the MEETING at 11:20
a.m.
