CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1994
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Abramowitz called the meeting to order on
Friday, September 9, 1994, at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room #1 at
Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
PRESENT:
Mayor Norman Abramowitz
ABSENT AND EXCUSED:
Vice Mayor Irving Katz
Councilman Larry Mishkin
Councilman Joseph Schreiber
Councilwoman Sharon Machek
ALSO PRESENT:
Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager (entered at 10:05 a.m.)
Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney

Mayor Abramowitz RECESSED this meeting at 9:35 a.m. and RECONVENED
at 9:45 a.m. with all present.
1. Summary discussion - Cable Television

Mayor Abramowitz indicated that representatives from Continental
Cablevision were present; Ellen Filipiak, Vice President & District
Manager and Gary I. Resnick, Director, Government & Community Relations.
Discussion was held.
Mayor Abramowitz asked Ms. Filipiak to prepare a monthly report on the
customer service given by Continental Cable.
Anthony Silvestri, resident of Lime Bay, discussed the rights to the
easement at his complex.

Marvin T. Seidel, resident of King's Point, discussed individual
homeowner's rights.
Mayor Abramowitz ADJOURNED the MEETING at 10:48 a.m.
