CITY COMMISSION WORKSHOP MEETING
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1994
CALL TO ORDER, Mayor Abramowitz called the meeting to order on Monday,
November 21, 1994, at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room #1 at Tamarac City Hall, 7525
Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.

Ferguson properties
Discussion was held on the possibility that Ray de la Feuilliez, Broward County School
Board, was looking at the Ferguson properties for a storage warehouse and light
maintenance building.
The Mayor spoke of various meetings held regarding EMS.
2. Adult Congregate Living_ Facilities (ACLF1

Discussion was held concerning Woodmont Gardens ACLF request for a time
extension on the project site plan.

The Commission and staff will put together a list of code changes to be addressed.

Discussion was held on the following subjects:
Canals - Woodlands Country Club will maintain their canals for one year on a
trial basis.
NW 70th Street in Woodmont - Possibility of City installing curbing in two
locations and letting the homeowners maintain it.
Beautification in all areas of the City.
Drainage problem areas.
Meeting with MPO and Florida DOT concerning Hiatus Road.
Determination of a name for Land Section 7.
Mayor Abramowitz ADJOURNED the MEETING at 11:20 a.m.
