NOTICE OF
SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL
February 16, 1983
A Special Meeting of the City Council has been scheduled for
Friday, February 18, 1983 at 10:30 A.M. in the Council Chambers.
of City Hall, 5811 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida.
The purpose of this meeting is to acknowledge the rescheduled
due process hearing for Al Miller to Friday, February 25, 1983
at 9:30 A.M.
This meeting is open to the public. Council may consider such
other business as they deem necessary.

if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Cify
Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or
hearing, he will need a record the proceedings and for such
purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record includQ5
the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

February 18, 1983
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Walter W. Falck called the Special Meeting
to order on Friday, February 18, 1983, at 10:30 A.M. in the
Council Chambers at City Hall.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Mayor Walter W. Falck
Vice Mayor Helen Massaro
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: Councilman Irving M. Disraelly
Councilman Philip B. Kravitz
Councilman David E. Krantz
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager, Laura Z. Stuurmans
City Attorney, Jon M. Henning
Assistant City Clerk, Carol A. Evans
Secretary, Sally Spiegel
1. Due Process Hearing for Al Miller, Chief Building_Official -
to acknowledge the rescheduled due process hearing
SYNOPSIS OF ACTION:
Meeting rescheduled to
February 25, 1983 at 10:30 A.M.
Mayor Falck read the notice of the meeting into the record, and
he said since there was no quorum, there would be no discussion of
other items and the meeting limited to acknowledgment of rescheduled
due process hearing for Al Miller to be 10:30 A.M. rather than
9:30 A.M., February 25, 1983, due to conflict with one of the
attorney's representatives who will be in attendance.
Jon Henning said there should be a report on this at the next
regular Council Meeting, including the City Manager's recommend-
ations as to Mr. Miller's salary.
City Manager said she will inform Personnel of the continuation
in Mr. Miller's status of suspension with pay, and report on it
at the next Council Meeting.
V/M Massaro said she concurred with everything 6at was said.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 A.M.
