Public Hearing on wastewater Facilities Planning. This meeting was rescheduled from Tuesday, February 19, 1985, due to lack of a quorum of City Council members. The purpose of this Special Meeting is discussion and pos- sible action on the following items: 1. Amendment to Resolution 85-20 regarding the date of the sale of General Obligation Bonds for the Municipal Complex by Temp. o . 2. Retaining the firm of Facciani & Co. as pension consult- ants to conduct a study of the Tamarac employees Pension Plan, as requested by the Pension Board. The public is encouraged to attend. Henning, City Attorney Carol E.Barbuto,Assistant City Clerk Patricia Marcurio, Secretary V/M Stein read the Notice of the Meeting into the record. 1. Amendment to Resolution 85-20 regarding the date of the sale of Genera]. Obligation Bonds for the Municipal Complex by Temp. Rg_so_,j.25l7 - Discussion and possible action. SSXN0_pi5_I_S_ OF ACTION: APPROVED. RESOLUTION NO. R-85-60 PASSED. City Attorney Henning read Temp. Rego. #3517 by title. City Manager Johnson said the City must move up the date of sale of the General Obligation. Bonds. He said a Resolution has already been adopted but there was a conflict with the dates and that is the only reason for this Resolution. Mr. Denning said as a minor detail, on the original Resolution there were three Exhibits, A, B and C; however, now only two Exhibits are needed revising A and B. C/M Stelzer MOVED APPROVAL of Temp,___Reso_ 51 , SECONDED by C/M Munitz. VOTE : ALL _VOTED AYE 2. Retaining the firm of Facciani. & Co. as pension consultants to conduct a study of the Tamarac employees Pension Plan, as re- quested by the Pension Board - Discussion and possible action. SYNOPSIS OFAf,TI N: APPROVED retaining the firm of Facciani & Co. as Pension Consultants to conduct a study of the Tamarac Pension Plan for a fee not to exceed $7,500.00 with the funds coming from General Fund, Professional Services G & A. City Manager Johnson said he sent Council a. copy of the memo from Judy Deutsch, Secretary for the Pension Board. He said the Pension if Board has disussed and approved this; however, their approval was for an amount not to exceed $6,500.00 and Mr. Facciani said it will cost approximately $7,500.00. Mr. Henning said the figure of $7,500.00 was a maximum figure which was arrived at after the meet- ing. Mr. Henning said the City has a firm of actuaries that has been representing the City for several years and this is not a request to replace them but rather, to have an additional report done by these experts. 1 2/20/85 /Pm �%:. Mr. Henning said the funds will come from the General Funds, Professional Services, G & A. SECONDED by C/M Bernstein.
