NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council on Tues-
day, February 19, 1985, at 9:30 A.M., or as soon thereafter
upon the conclusion of the 9:00 A.M. Public Hearing on Waste-
water Facilities Planning.
The purpose of this Special Meeting is discussion and pos-
sible action on the following items:
1. Amendment to Resolution 85-20 regarding the date of the
sale of General Obligation Bonds for the Municipal
Complex by Temp._ Re-s0-,_.511
2. Retaining the firm of Facciani & Co. as pension consult-
ants to conduct a study of the Tamarac employees Pension
Plan, as requested by the Pension Board.
The public is encouraged to attend.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the city
Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or
hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings and for such
purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record includes
the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Temp. Reso. #3517. Discussion and possible action.

Special Council Meeting.
City Attorney Henning: I will read the notice of this meeting
dated "February 15, 1985, Notice of Special Meeting, City Council
of Tamarac, Florida. There will be a Special Meeting of the City
Council on Tuesday, February 19, 1985, at 9:30 A.M., or as soon
thereafter upon the conclusion of the 9:00 A.M. Public Hearing
on Wastewater Facilities Planning. (1) Amendment to Resolution
85-20 regarding the date of the sale of General Obligation Bonds
for the Municipal Complex by Temp. Reso. #3517. (2) Retaining
the firm of Facciani & Co. as pension consultants to conduct a
study of the Tamarac employees Pension Plan, as requested by the
Pension Board. The public is encouraged to attend." Do you want
me to ask the City Manager and the Building Director... this
amendment to the bond Resolution, is it as urgent or should we
put it off to Wednesday?
City Manager Johnson: It is as urgent and we need to have it
because the advertisement is being placed now, that should not
take but just a minute. It is not related to the Utility Bonds,
this is General Obligation Bonds, not Utility Bonds.
City Attorney Henning: As far as the Pension Consultlant, do we
try to consider that tomorrow too or should we just put that off
until a regular meeting?
City Manager Johnson: I think if we have the time, if we do not
it can be Tabled to the 27th.
City Attorney Henning: I understand, O.K. Let me announce that
the Special Meeting, time permitting, on these two items, will be
conducted immediately following the Public Hearing tomorrow on
February 20, 1985, also in this room.

for your inconvenience and hopefully we will see you all tomorrow
morning at 9 o'clock. Thank you.
The meeting was Recessed to Wednesday, February 20, 1985 at
9:00 A.M.
