NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL
TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council on Monday,
September 17, 1984 at 10:00 A.M. in the West Conference Room
of City Hall, 5811 Northwest 88 Avenue, Tamarac.
The purpose of this meeting is to amend the signatures for City
checking accounts by Temp. Reso. #3288.
The Council may consider and act upon such other business as
may come before it.
The public is invited to attend.

Monday, September 17, 1984, at 10:00 A.M. in the West Confer-
ence Room.

�Qp TS ( A TIQN: APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. R-84-bg/PASSED*
stating that the signatories of Mayor
and City Manager are required as authorized
signatures to transact banking business on
behalf of the City at the North Carolina
National Bank (NCNB). In the absence of
the Mayor and Vice Mayor., a Councilman may
be designated as signatory. In the absence
of the City Manager, the Acting City Manager
is designated as signatory.
Mr. Henning read �_13Jby title. He said in the
past there were names in the Resolution in earlier drafts and
this now states that the signatures of the Mayor and City
Manager are required as authorized signatures. He said in the
absence of the Mayor, the Vice Mayor is designated as signa-
tory, in the absence of the Mayor and Vice Mayor, a Councilman
may be designated as signatory. He said in the absence of the
City Manager, the Acting City Manager is designated as signa-
tory. He said the only other change is that the third Council
member after the Mayor and Vice Mayor would be designated by
the signature card.
C/M Munitz suggested an addition on Line 22 stating that the
signatory be a Councilman who is liaison to the Finance
Department. The Mayor and Council agreed that this designa-
tion was not necessary. C/M Munitz questioned whom the Acting
City Manager would be in the City Manager's absence and
Mr. Henning said the Acting City Manager is designated by the
City Manager.
