Workshop on the Proposed Budget was called to
Tuesday, June 17th, 1980, by Mayor Falck.

ALSO PRESENT:
E. A. Gross, City Manager
Laura Z. Stuurmans, Assistant
City Manager
Bob Hoyt, Ass't Finance Director
Steve Wood, Finance Director
Merrill Carparotta, Secretary
The Mayor stated this was a continuation of discussions
on the Preliminary 1980/81 budget. He asked if there were any comments
relating to the last session that was held. The City Manager indicated
that the Fire Chief is reviewing his budget and has given the Manager
verbal changes.
Mayor Falck stated the item to be discussed this date
is Public Works. However, Council's paperwork, in looseleaf form, was
difficult for them to follow. Mr. Gross requested that Bob Hoyt prepare
binders for all Councilmembers.
The City Manager suggested the meeting be adjourned
until Council receives the binders. The Mayor suggested going over the
Police and Contingency Budget on 6-18-80 as per the schedule and then
re -schedule the department of Public Works for a later date.
