NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
There will be a special meeting of the City Council on
Friday, May 22, 1987, at 9:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers at
City Hall, 5811 N.W. 88th Ave., Tamarac, Florida.
The purpose of the meeting is:
MOTION TO ADOPT_ Temp. Reso.#4625 providing for
• the issuance of General Obligation Bonds (Police
Station Project), Series 1987, of the City, award-
ing the bonds to the underwriter, setting the bond
terms, approving the bond form, providing for the
amount of the bonds, authorizing the execution,
delivery and distribution of a preliminary and
final statement, authorizing the execution and
delivery of closing documents.

FINAL ACTION: RESOLUTION R-87-168 PASSED.
APPROVED.
The City Council may consider and act upon such other
business as may come before it.
The public is invited to attend.

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hart called this Special City Council
Meeting to Order at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, May 22, 1987, in the
Council Chambers at City Hall.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Bernard Hart
Vice Mayor Sydney M. Stein
Councilman Henry M. Rohr
Councilman Bruce Hoffman
Councilman Jack Stelzer
ALSO PRESENT: Larry Perretti, Acting City Manager
A. Bryant Applegate, City Attorney
Carol E. Barbuto, City Clerk
Yvonne E. Snyder, Secretary
Mayor Hart announced the purpose of this Special Meeting was to
act on the following:
MQTION TO ADOPT Temp. Reso. 14625 providing for the issuance
of General Obligation Bonds (Police Station Project), Series
1987, of the City, awarding the bonds to the underwriter,
setting the bond terms, approving the bond form, providing
for the amount of the bonds, authorizing the execution,
delivery and distribution of a preliminary and final
statement, authorizing the execution and delivery of closing
documents.
City Attorney Applegate read Temn.,Re_so. 04625 by title.
Mr. Gerald Heffernan, Bond Counsel for the City, said
everything was in order and a disclosure statement was
delivered by the Underwriter, as was required by law.
* V/M Stein MOVED to ADOPT Temp. Rego,SECONDED by C/M
* Hoffman.
Ms. Judy Vereen, Representative from L. F. Rothchild,
Unterberg, Towbin, Inc., Underwriters for the Bond Issue,
said the Bonds sold very well and everything was in order.
V/M Stein asked if the City would be able to refinance if
the interest rate were to drop and Mr. Heffernan replied
they could.
