ORDINANCE NO. 68-5
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC TO ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS CONTIGUOUS TO THE
PRESENT BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter -described tract of land is contiguous
to the present boundaries of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) regis-
tered voters, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said tract of land has petitioned the
City of Tamarac to integrate said land into said City, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex said land:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The Council hereby declares its intention to annex
the following -described tract to the City at the expiration of
thirty (30) days from the approval of this Ordinance, to -wit:
Lots 9 and 16 of Fort Lauderdale Truck Farms Subdivision
of Section 9, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, Broward
County, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31,
Broward County Records; and
Lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 of Fort Lauderdale
Truck Farms Subdivision of Section 10, Township 49
South, Range 41 East, Broward County, Florida, as
recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, Broward County
Records.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become in full force and effect
immediately upon its final passage.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be passed on three readings at
one meeting of the Council.
PASSED FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD READINGS THIS 1st DAY OF APRIL,
1968.
