0 ORDINANCE NO. - 6
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COURT COSTS
FOR THE MUNICIPAL COURT OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that
the Municipal Court of the City of Tamarac is about to
commence operations and that trials will commence during
September, 1969; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it wise and
expedient to establish court costs to defray the costs
and expenses of the operation and maintenance of the
Municipal Court system; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
. SECTION 1: Court costs to be charged by the
Municipal Court of the City shall be in the sum of Seven
Dollars ($7.00) to be charged as a cost against each De-
fendant convicted in the Municipal Court of the City.
Any costs assessed by any governmental agency shall be
in excess of the charge designated herein. Said charge
shall be rendered against each Defendant appearing and
adjudicated guilty in the Municipal Court.

SECTION 2: Should any section or provision
of this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph,
sentence or word be declared by a court of competent juris-
diction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part
hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
