AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1.02 AND
ADDING NEW ARTICLES TVA AND IVB TO
ORDINANCE 1-64, CREATING NEW ZONING
CATEGORIES ENTITLED I-1 (Industrial
Mining) AND 1-2 (Industrial Manufactur-
ing), ESTABLISHING USES AND PROHIBITIONS
THEREFOR; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1.02 of Ordinance No.
1-64 is amended to read as follows:
"Section 1.02. Districts established.
(4) •T-1 District (Industrial Mining)
(5) 1-2 District (Industrial -Limited manufacturing)"
SECTION 2: That new Article IVA and IVB are added
to Ordinance 1-64, said new Article to read as follows:
" Article IVA - 1-1 District
Industrial Mining
Section 4.03.1 Uses permitted.
The uses permitted in 1-1 District are as follows:
A. Rock, sand, gravel or soil -excavation, removal,
storage, crushing, screening, mixing with oils
or ashphalt.
B. Any principal or accessory building, improvement
or use directly or indirectly connected with the

uses allowed in Sub -section A. above.
Section 4.03.2 Uses prohibited.
All other uses not expressly permitted under
this article."
"Article IVB - 1-2 District
Industrial - Limited manufacturing
Section 4.03.3 Uses permitted.
The uses permitted in 1-2 Districts are as folbws:
A. Modular home assembly and construction, mobile
home assembly and construction, including any
type of pre -fabrication of buildings.
B. Any principal or accessory building, improve-
ment or use directly or indirectly connected
with the uses allowed in Sub -section A above.
Section 4.03.4 Uses prohibited.
All other uses not expressly permitted under this
article."
SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of
this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph,
sentence or word be declared by a court of competent juris-
diction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof, other than the part to
be declared invalid.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
