ORDINANCE NO. 32-69
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO
THE CITY OF TAMARAC AND REDEFINING THE
CORPORATE LIMITS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land is
contiguous to the present boundaries- of the City of Tamarac,
and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten
(10) registered voters, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said tract of land has peti-
tioned the City of Tamarac to integrate said land into the
City, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex
is said land pursuant to the provisions of Section 9.37 of Chapter
63, 1970, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1963, the same being
the Charter of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the City did by Ordinate e No. 29-69 declare
its intention to annex the said tract of lAnd, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 29-69 was duly published
as required by law; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The following described tract of land
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Tamarac, to
wit:
A portion of Section 8, Township 49 South,
Range 41 East, of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS
SUBDIVISION, according to the Plat thereof, as
recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public
Records of Broward County, Florida, being more
particularly described on Schedule A attached
hereto and made a part hereof:

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become in full force
and effect immediately upon its final passage.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be passed on three
readings at one meeting of the Council.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
PASSED FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD READINGS this 17th
day of November, A.D., 1969.
