AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE h 5 -1. TO
PROVIDE FOR AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEE
FOR BOARDING HOUSES FOR ANIMALS; PROVIDING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIME CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 21 of Ordinance 65-1
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, is amended to provide a
new sub -paragraph (9A) as follows:
Section 21. AMOUNT OF TAX TO BE PAID.
Licenses shall be issued to cover only one (1)
location, and only one of the occupations or
ibusiness classifications hereinafter set out,
unless permitted hereunder. The amounts assessed
as license taxes against the various trades,
businesses and professions are hereby fixed as
follows:
(W% Boarding House for Animals. (No medical
treatment or grooming - boarding only). $100.00.
S CT ION 2. Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to
be.invali.d, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
