ORDINANCE NO. 30c69
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
CITY OF TAMARAC AND REDEFINING THE CORPORATE
LIMITS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tracts of land
are contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of Tam-
arac; and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than 10
registered voters; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said tract of land has pet-
itioned the City of Tamarac to integrate said land into said
City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex
said land pursuant to the provisions of Section 9.37 of
Chapter 63, 1970, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1963, the
same being the Charter of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City did by Ordinance No. 69-21 declare
its intention to annex the said tract of land; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 69-21 was duly published
as required by law; Now, Therefore,
FLORIDA:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
"A portion. of Tracts 1, 2 and 8 of Section 9,
Township 49 South, Range 41 East, and a por-
tion of Tracts 12, 13 and 20 of Section 3,
Township 49 South, Range 41 East, together
with a portion of Tracts 4 and 5 of Section 10,
Township 49 South, Range 41 East, all as shown
on the plat of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUB-
DIVISION, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31,
of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida,
being more particularly described on that certain
"description," prepared by Davis and Craven, Inc.,
dated August 25, 1969, contgining two pages, said
description being attached hereto and made a
part hereof the same as if it were set forth in
full herein and identified as Exhibit A."

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become in full
force and effect immediately upon its final passage.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be passed on three
readings at one meeting of the Council.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word, be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder -hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other
than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
