ORDINANCE #���//
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR THE RE -ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM C-1 TO C-2; PROVIDING FOR THE
CERTAIN RE -ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FROM R-1 TO C-2; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has
been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time
and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of the pro-
perty described herein, and the said public hearing has been
held in accordance with the notice and the public has been
given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the
Council has examined and investigated the request for the
zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held by the City
Council pursuant to the Charter, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has recommended
to the City Council that said zoning changes be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL of
the City of Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 1. That those lands as shown on those certain
legal descriptions attached hereto and made a part hereof,
identified as Exhibits A through P are hereby rezoned from
C-1 classification to C-2 classification.
SECTION 2. That those lands as shown on that certain
legal desription attached hereto and made a part hereof, identified
as Exhibit Q, is hereby re --zoned from R-1 classification to
C-2 classification.
SECTION 3. That the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning
said change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk,
together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 5. Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion hereof, or any paragraphs, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdictionto
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof", other than
the part declared to be invalid.
