AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
CITY OF TAMARAC AND REDEFINING THE CORPORATE
LIMITS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land
is contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of
Tamarac; and,
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than
ten (10) registered voters; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of said tract of land has
petitioned the City of Tamarac to integrate said land into
the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex
said land pursuant to the provisions of Section 9.37 of Chapter
63, 1970, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1963, the same being
the Charter of the City of Tamarac; and,
WHEREAS, the City did by Ordinance No. 70-713
declare its intention to annex the said tract of land; and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly published as re-
quired by law; now, therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
SECTION 1: The following described tract of land
same is hereby annexed to the City of Tamarac; to
Tracts 14 and 15 of Section 3; Tracts 17, 18,
19 and 20 of Section 4; Tracts 1 through 8 of
Section 8, all of the above being in Township
49 South, Range 41 East and shown on the Plat
of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION, as
recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31; of the Public
Records of Broward County, Florida; and, Tracts
ORDINANCE NO. 70 - 176 (Continued) -2-
27, 28, 29 and 30 of Section S, Township 49
South, Range 41 East, of Florida Fruit Lands
Co. Subdivision No. 2, as recorded in Plat
Book 1, Page 102 of the Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida.
SECTION 2: The corporate limits of the City of
Tamarac are hereby redefined to include the described tract
of land.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become in full
force and effect upon a certified copy hereof being recorded
in the Public Records of Broward County, Florida.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be passed on
three readings at one meeting of the Council.
SECTION S: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
of word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 6: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
