ORDINANCE NO. 70 - 91*
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ORIGINAL ZONING
OF CERTAIN LANDS IN TRACTS 9, 10, 15 AND 16,
FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION, AS
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, TO I-3;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL ORD-
INANCES IN CONFLICT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructions of the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has
been given in accordance with the applicable law of the
time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of
the property described herein, and said public hearing has
been held in accordance with the notice and the public has
been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following described parcel of
property be and it is hereby zoned I-3 in accordance with the
I-3 zoned districts of the City of Tamarac; said parcel more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section
8; thence N 00 01' 37" W, along the East line of
said Section 8, a distance of 2039.90 feet; thence
N 880 59' 06" W, parallel with the South line of
said Section 8, a distance of 403.06 feet to the
Point of Beginning of this description; thence
continuing N 880 59' 06" W, a distance of 1780.66
feet; thence S 00 01' 37" E, a distance of 1230.81
feet; thence S 880 59' 06" E, a distance of 1370.79
feet; thence N 00 01' 37" W, a distance of 410.07
feet; thence S 880 59' 06" E, a distance of 410.07
feet; thence N 00 01' 37" W, a distance of 820.75
feet to the Point of Beginning.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to mark the
Zoning changes provided for herein on the official Zoning Map
of the City.

SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
