AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
CITY OF TAMARAC AND REDEFINING THE CORPORATE
LIMITS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land is
contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of Tamarac;
and,
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than
ten (10) registered voters; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of said tract of land has petitioned
the City of Tamarac to integrate said land into the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex
said land pursuant to the provisions of Section 9.37 of Chapter
63, 1970, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1963, the same being
the Charter of the City of Tamarac; and,
WHEREAS, the City did by Ordinance No. 70-7A declare
.its intention to annex the said tract of land; and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly published as required
by law; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The following described tract of land
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Tamarac; to wit,
The description as more particularly
described on Schedule "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof as if
set forth in full herein.
SECTION 2: The corporate limits of the City of
Tamarac are hereby redefined to include the described tract of
land.

and effect upon a certified copy hereof being recorded in the
Public Records of Broward County, Florida.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be passed on three
readings at one meeting of the Council.
SECTION 5: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or
word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the re-
mainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 6: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
