AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC TO ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS CON-
TIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT BOUNDARIES THEREOF;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land
is contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of
Tamarac; and,
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than
ten (10) registered voters; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of said tract of land has petitioned
the City of Tamarac to integrate said land into said City; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex
said land after publication thereof in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Tamarac; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The Council hereby declares its intention
to annex the herein described tract of land to the City after
thirty (30) days from the approval and publication of this ordin-
ance in accordance with law; to wit:
A portion of Sections 4 and 5, Township 49 South,
Range 41 East, Broward County, Florida, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 5;
thence N-Oo 10' 05" - W, along the East line of said
Section 5, a distance of 3245.93 feet; thence West, a
distance of 492-08 feet to the Point of Beginning of
this description; thence continuing West, a distance
of 1114.96 feet to a Point of Curve; thence Westerly
and Northerly, along the arc of a circular curve to
the right, having a radius of 25 feet, an arc distance
of 33.42 feet to a Point of Compound Curve; thence

continuing Northerly, along the arc of a circular
curve to the right, having a radius of 2000 feet,
an arc distance of 635.24 feet; thence East, a dis-
tance of 1015.46 feet to an intersection with the
arc of a circular curve to the right, having a
radius of 540 feet; thence Easterly, along the are
of said curve, whose radius point bears S-660 16'
10" - E, from the last described point, an arc
distance of 2667.38 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 36.101 acres.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall become in full force
and effect immediately upon its final passage.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be passed on three
(3) readings at one meeting of the Council.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or
word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the re-
mainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
