ORDINANCE NO. 70 - r'�
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ORIGINAL ZONING
OF CERTAIN LANDS IN SECTIONS 4, 10 AND 12,
TOWNSHIP 49 SOUTH, RANGE 41 EAST, AS MORE PAR-
TICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, TO A ZONING CLASSI-
FICATION OF C-2 DISTRICT (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT);
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL ORDIN-
ANCES IN CONFLICT: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructions of the City Council
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in
accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public
hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein, and
the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice
and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been
heard; and the Council has examined and investigafi�ed the request
for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Tamarac; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the lands as shown on that certain
legal description attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
set forth in full herein and identified as Exhibit "A" (three
pages containing three parcels of property), are hereby zoned
C-2, in accordance with the applicable regulation of C-2 zoned
districts as provided for in the appropriate Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Tamarac, Florida. The City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to mark the appropriate changes on the
official zoning map of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or
word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall rot affect the validity of the re-
mainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
