AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC TO ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS CON-
TIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tracts of land are
contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of Tamarac,
and
WHEREAS, said tracts of land contain less than ( 10 )
ten registered voters, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said tracts of land has petitioned
the City of Tamarac to integrate said lands into said City,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex said
lands.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL of the
City of Tamarac, Florida :
SECTION 1:
The Council hereby declares its intention
to annex to the City upon the expiration of thirty ( 30 )
days from the approval of this Ordinance the following
described lands:
A. The West230 feet of that portion of the East
861.35 feet ( Measured at right angles ) of
the North 1011 feet of the Southwest one -
quarter ( SW 4 ) of Section 18, Township 49
South, Range 42 East, Broward County, Florida,
lying North of the North right-of-way line of
Northwest 50th Street ( Commercial Boulevard ).
B. The South 265 feet of the S. W. 4 of the S.E.k
of the N.W. 4 of Section 18, Township 49 South,
Range 42 East, Broward County Florida, Less the
West 342.90 feet.
C. The West 342.90 feet of the South 4 of the SE4
of the NW4 of Section 18, Township 49 South,
Range 42 East,!)Broward County, Floirida.

SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall be approved until
the City Engineer confirms in writing to the City Clerk that
the aforedescribed lands are contiguous to the present boun-
daries of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: That the Petitioner forementioned, shall
provide to the City the necessary funds for the required pub-
lication of this Ordinance prior to its final approval.
